HLA filmmakers are being celebrated at this year’s Sydney Film Festival.
The program features Jane Campion – Her Way, a retrospective showcasing nine feature and five short films from the accomplished career of Jane Campion. Jane will also appear in conversation with David Stratton.
Rachel Ward’s documentary RACHEL’S FARM will also have its Australian premiere, and Rachel will speak to her process making the documentary at a Meet the Filmmakers event.
Alice Englert’s debut feature film BAD BEHAVIOUR will screen at the State Theatre, with Alice appearing as a special guest.
The first two episodes of dark comic series BAY OF FIRES directed by Natalie Bailey will also premiere.
Also enjoying its Australian premiere is RUN RABBIT RUN, a psychological thriller directed by Daina Reid with cinematography by Bonnie Elliott and production design by Vanessa Cerne.
